CMS! at Ö1-Wissen aktuell

Ö1 Wissen Aktuell reported on 23 February 2022 about the Academic Start-up Project "Clean Mediterranean Sea! - CMS!" about plastic waste in the Mediterranean Sea, which threatens fauna and flora and can cause the Mediterranean ecosystem to topple. Reports on the legal situation, programmes and initiatives at international and European level as well as on the legal and practical situation in almost all Mediterranean countries are subsequently commented on by the Austrian NGOs MareMundi and World Wide Fund for Nature Austria (WWF) from a marine biology point of view before recommendations for saving the Mediterranean Sea are drawn up and submitted to the responsible organisations and states. The interview was given by our CMS! project coordinator Clara Zimmermann.
